See how your weekly dictation stacks up against other Wispr Flow users. Track your word count, climb the rankings, and share your results with your team.
What it is
The Leaderboard is a ranked list of Wispr Flow users by dictation activity. For enterprise and team users, it appears as a sub-tab inside the Insights page. It shows a podium view for the top six, followed by a paginated list of all other positions. Your current rank is highlighted so you can find your place at a glance.
When to use it
Open the Leaderboard when you want to:
Compare your word count against other Wispr Flow users.
Track your rank throughout the week to motivate yourself to dictate more.
Share your standing with your team or on social media.
See how your team is using Flow if you're on an enterprise plan.
How it works in Flow
Overview
Wispr Flow tallies your dictation activity and places you on a ranked list alongside other users. Standings update as users dictate more throughout the selected time range. Team stats begin loading as soon as you open the Insights page, so the leaderboard is ready by the time you navigate to it.
Key behaviors
Sort metric: Choose which stat to rank by using the metric picker in the leaderboard's stat column header. Options include Total Words, Words Per Minute, and Day Streak.
Time range: Click the history icon at the top of the leaderboard to switch between this week, this month, or all time. The header shows the start and end dates of the current week, or "[Time range] Leaderboard" for other ranges (for example, "Monthly Leaderboard").
Podium view: The top six users appear in a podium-style layout at the top of the leaderboard, with each card showing the user's speed in WPM. If you're not in the top six, your own entry is included below the podium.
Paginated ranked list: All other positions appear in a paginated list below the podium, ordered from highest to lowest, with 20 rows per page. Pagination controls sit on the right edge, and a second pagination bar above the list lets you jump between pages without scrolling.
Your position highlighted: Your entry is highlighted so you can spot your current rank without scanning the full list. The rank column sits prominently on the left for easy scanning.
Jump to me: Click the Jump to me button to navigate to the page containing your rank and center your highlighted row in view.
Hourly refresh: The leaderboard refreshes hourly. A note below the list confirms the refresh cadence.
Weekly reset: Rankings reset at the start of each new week.
Resilient loading: If the leaderboard has a brief connection issue while fetching updated data, it keeps showing the last successfully loaded results instead of an error message.
Share button: Export or share your leaderboard results directly from the leaderboard. The shareable rank card displays your speed in WPM, and on team plans the share text includes your team name. When sharing to X or LinkedIn, the image is copied to your clipboard and a prompt reminds you to paste it into the post.
Invite team members state: If you're on an enterprise plan and have unlocked the leaderboard but are the only person in your organization, the leaderboard appears blurred with an Invite team members button. Click it to open team settings and invite colleagues.
Locked preview: If the leaderboard is locked and your roster is small, placeholder teammate rows fill out the preview so you can see what the full view looks like.
Weekly rank notifications: Enterprise users receive a notification every Monday showing their rank from the previous week. Top-5 finishers get a celebratory trophy notification with a See results button; everyone else gets a smaller summary with a See leaderboard button. Both can be muted or dismissed.
Note: Words Per Minute and Day Streak are hidden when viewing the "This week" range. If either is selected when you switch to "This week," the leaderboard automatically falls back to Total Words.
Streaks
Your day and week streaks appear in the sidebar on the Hub home page, alongside your other dictation stats.
Day streaks: Reset to 0 after 48 hours without dictating.
Week streaks: Reset to 0 after 14 days without dictating.
Timezone: Streak counts are calculated based on your local timezone.
Sharing your stats
From the Insights page, share your usage stats and streak to social media. Open the Insights page from the Hub sidebar, then click the share button on the Your Usage tab to choose from two shareable cards:
Flow Highlights: Shows your daily streak, words per minute, total words dictated, and apps used.
Flow Streak: Features your current streak day count.
Each card can be copied to your clipboard, downloaded as an image, or shared to X or LinkedIn. When sharing to X or LinkedIn, the image is copied to your clipboard and the platform's compose page opens — paste the image there to post.
Note: The share button is disabled while your stats are still loading. Wait for the page to finish loading, then try again.
Enterprise admin controls
Enterprise admins can hide the leaderboard entirely for their organization from the admin settings. When hidden, the Insights Leaderboard tab is removed for all members and weekly rank notifications are suppressed.
FAQs
Where can I see my streaks and dictation stats?
Your streaks, word count, and other dictation stats appear in the sidebar on the Hub home page. On some versions of the app, these stats are also available on the Insights page under the Your Reach tab.
Can I see past results on the leaderboard?
Yes. Click the history icon at the top of the leaderboard to switch between this week, this month, or all time.
Why are Words Per Minute and Day Streak missing from the sort options?
Those metrics are only available for time ranges longer than a single week. Switch to a longer range (such as monthly or all time) to sort by Words Per Minute or Day Streak.
Who else appears on the leaderboard?
The Leaderboard shows rankings across all Wispr Flow users. Your own position is highlighted, and if you're not in the top six for a given metric your entry still appears so you can see where you rank.
How do I quickly find my own position in the list?
Click the Jump to me button at the top of the leaderboard. It navigates to the page containing your rank and scrolls your highlighted row into view.
Why do my stats open in a different place than before?
On some versions of Wispr Flow, usage stats have moved from a pop-up dialog to a dedicated Insights page in the Hub sidebar, under the Your Reach tab. If you don't see this yet, your version still uses the previous stats dialog.
Why is the leaderboard blurred with an "Invite team members" message?
This appears when you've unlocked the team leaderboard on an enterprise plan but are currently the only person in your organization. Click Invite team members to open team settings and add colleagues. Once others join, the leaderboard displays normally.
How do I turn off weekly leaderboard rank notifications?
Go to System settings and toggle off Team leaderboard updates. You can also mute or dismiss individual notifications as they arrive.
As an admin, how do I hide the leaderboard for my organization?
Enterprise admins can hide the leaderboard from the organization's admin settings. When hidden, the Insights Leaderboard tab is removed for all members and weekly rank notifications are no longer sent.
What text is included when I share my leaderboard results?
When you share your leaderboard rank card, the share text reads "Check out my Wispr Flow Leaderboard!" When sharing to X or LinkedIn, the image is copied to your clipboard and the platform's compose page opens with a prompt reminding you to paste the image into your post.
